I’m going to be a part of an opening team for a new hyatt brand in my city, and they told me as a full timer i’ll be able to have 12 comp nights at any hyatt in the world. Ive been reading a lot about hyatt and it seems like many people say its the best hotel program around. Can we really stay at any hyatt in the world at any time, even those $1k/night hawaii resorts? Assuming marriott gold status which id say most people have through some credit card, youd be getting 18. 5x points per dollar vs 9x with hyatt so i wouldnt say hyatt is far superior unless you value hyatt points way more than double marriott. It really is best to diversify - im a globalist. So my question is, what’s the catch?
